This post has deteriorated to the point of being a slanging match with a number of rather silly remarks.

May I suggest that you intervene to close the matter with the gentleman concerned and to consider deleting the post in its entirety.

Maybe we could ask Nick to kindly remove his photo from the site, personally I dont think the owner has any legal ground to stand on, but I think it may be in the best interests of the site.

I have removed some of my images in the past at the request of an owner, but only when the aircraft was photographed inside a hangar.

I have also deleted several of the threads started by "wantmyprivacy" that didnot have any replies but were on the same subject.

now that this has run its course, I personally think that the thread should be deleted as it adds no value to the forum.

Hi Chris,

Even though the thread is not pleasant to read, it shows how we react to a request (which we do not necessarily agree to), and why we do that. For that reason I am thinking we should leave it there. So next time when something similar happens, they know where to refer to.

Any other opinion?
